Mannenhitsu-do!
Mannenhitsu-do, the Way of the Ten-thousand Year Brush, is a neologism I invented to describe the path of the fountain pen afficionado. I followed the construction of Japanese martial arts names because that’s what the cool kids would have done when I was at an age to worry about that sort of thing… if they actually had known any Japanese. There are no belt rankings, there is no central authority to defer to, there is simply the joy of nigh-frictionless writing with the ink you prefer.
As the founder of the school, I will insist that you not take this at all seriously, and avoid direct conflict with either ninja clans or servants of the Shogun (should another Shogun be named any time soon). You are free to cock a snook at people with ball-points.
