Vintage pens-Handmade books-Silly statements

Seventy Years On

Posted by Dirck on 6 June, 2014

Today’s Film Fliching falls on a fairly important day.  I’ve mentioned in various past installments (this one being an early example) why today resonates for me as it does, so I’m making it today’s theme.  There’s three panels below, which vary inversely in length and the amount of cobbling together appied to each; so if you’re in a hurry, the first one is the way to go, while if you’ve got a high tolerance for re-creation, or even dramatization, go get some snacks and settle in for the last.

Today’s non-thematic pen: Sheaffer VFM
Today’s ink: Diamine Rustic Brown

A addition after closing time: this rather interesting then/now pictorial of some of the sites.
